The Lugger has been transformed following a major renovation programme. All the public rooms have been refurbished and greatly improved to offer comfort and functionality in the truly unique setting of this historic harbour. In a conservation area, at the foot of a valley with its picturesque cove and tiny harbour, Portloe is part of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. All twenty one bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and feature luxurious en-suite bathrooms, with deluge showers and Seboni Cornish Spa essential products.

If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

The Hotel restaurant, which overlooks the harbour, serves classical cuisine with an emphasis on fresh produce, such as seafood including locally caught lobster and crab. In the summer, light lunches and evening drinks are served to guests on the sunny terraces.
Portloe is on the south Cornish Coast, midway between St. Austell and Falmouth. The Hotel is conveniently situated for touring this outstanding area. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just two of the numerous attractions nearby. By road: Travel by road via the M5 motorway and A30 or A38; turn off the A390 St. Austell to Truro road on to the B3287 road to Tregony. Then take the A3078 (St. Mawes road) and 2 miles further on, fork left for Veryan and Portloe, turning left at the T-junction for Portloe. On arrival, you are assured of space in the private hotel car park. By train: Regular train services from London Paddington to Truro. A taxi or hire car can be arranged for you if you wish.
